Challenges

Working in a restaurant makes eating healthy hard. The cravings are unreal. But, yesterday I did not consume anything unhealthy and out of the foods i want to consume.

January 1st

Yesterday I went and purchased a ton of yummy healthy foods. I made my sister come with me for inspiration. Do NOT forget to get a multivitamin. I purchased Olly brand women's multi.


Todays plan:

1 glass of water before each meal
Lemon lime infused water for throughout the day.  (I purchased a water infuser on amazon.)(1/2 of a lemon, and 1/3 of a lime.)

Breakfast: 
Soy yogurt
Kind Granola
1 Banana

4 slices of turkey bacon

Snack:
Grapes

Snack:
Hummus with sweet potato chips


Meal planning:

Turkey Tacos (with corn, bell peppers and corn chips instead of tortillas)

Turkey Pasta (quinoa pasta with veggies)

Chicken Apple Sausage Risotto (with bell peppers, zucchini and onion)

Oat cracker topped chicken breast (with broccoli)

2016- a healthier version of me.

A fresh start...

2016 is going to be a year about me. I am going to become a better, stronger, leaner version of myself. No more over indulging. No more chocolate at 11pm right before I head to bed. No more. Here is the goal. The goal is to be happy. No numbers, no pant size. Just happiness. Now, don't get me wrong, I would love to be a size 2, and 30 pounds lighter, but that is not logical.

The plan:

Healthy eating, intense workouts, and water.



January 1st will be the start of this intense life-style change. No more soda, chocolate, or bread. Just clean eating.

First things first, I need to buy food. Since today is the last day of 2015 I will have to go grocery shopping to be able to start my year of right.

List:
- Chicken breasts
- Lean turkey meat
- Veggies (LOTS OF VEGGIES!!)
- Fruits (Low in sugar, bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, grapes)
- Rice
- Quinoa Pasta
- Corn Tortillas
- Whatever else falls healthily into my cart.

I won't be eating
- Wheat
- Dairy (cheese, eggs, milk)
- Beef (I don't like red meat)

So hear goes. A year of blogging and healthier living begins...
